It all started with set of sad, old irons. When I first took up the game, I got a set of Mizuno mp52's off eBay for cheap. As I got better I realized these were great irons that really suited me nicely, so I wanted to keep them. But they looked beat up from the previous owner. I decided to refinish them to give the feel of a brand new iron without spending over a grand for new irons that I didn't even need...
